End of the School Year

The boys recently wrapped up their school year, with Miles saying good-bye to his 3- to 6-year-old class and Grant to his 5- to 7-year-old class. It was Grant's last year at the Montessori school, where he's gone since age 2!

A couple of weeks before school ended, Grant wanted to write thank you notes to his teachers and the school director: "Dear Mrs. Kirby," he wrote. "Thank you for teaching me everything." So sweet and literally true. He's learned and grown so much in his time at Montessori. He'll miss the caring teachers and their passion for teaching the kids about practical life, science, Spanish, math and more.

Next year, he's on to second grade and new adventures!
