We had a nice few days in Chicago over Thanksgiving. On Wednesday, we went to the Brookfield Zoo to keep the boys busy. It was very cold that day, so we spent the whole time at the indoor children's zoo, where they dressed up as animals and zookeepers, played with mini animals and blocks, and did a fun craft project. The absolute highlight of the children's zoo was a real-live tarantula.
Thanksgiving was at Great Grandma's house. Both boys said their favorite food was turkey.
The week before Thanksgiving, we made a list of the things we were thankful for, including:
- Trains (Miles)
- The sun to make the plants grow (G)
- Mommy and Daddy
- The Grandmas and Grandpas
- Electricity (G)
- Thomas the Train (Miles)
- Ted the Hero
