Butterfly Garden

We visited the Reiman Gardens Butterfly Garden in Ames over the weekend, where we pretended like it was spring. Both boys were a little skittish about the butterflies flapping around them. But they loved running circles around the botanical gardens, which were filled with spring colors and smells. 

M wouldn't sit still for a picture. This was the best we could do. 

They were thrilled to find this bench where they could read books about insects and wild animals.
