Puddle Jumping

A rainy weekend gave way to clear skies this afternoon. G was anxious to get outside, so after his nap we walked two blocks to our neighborhood park.

We had a snack on a park bench. G wasn't willing to let go of his baseball.

Grant became fast friends with a 3-year-old, who taught him important playground skills such as how to climb up the slide and  jump in puddles.

G was a little unsure about the muddy water at first.

But soon they were dancing, jumping and splashing. The other boy was better prepared, having worn his rain boots.

The joys of springtime!
